• hdr tests

Three test shots taken on 12/5/12 using the Canon 600D. Manually timed with 15" intervals - not the best duration for the time of day (4pm) as the sun was still too high, and the shadows moving slowly. The basis of these tests was to establish the best bracketing for the camera - between one and one and a half stops and the setting for Photomatix Pro which is designed to stich the three images together.

With an SD card of 8mb the camera could capture around 1100 images as fine large jpegs, rather than using RAW files and creating the HDR shots from those, but this needs Photomatix to process them rather than processing in the normal way through After Effects.

    Metadata - All shots at f 6.7, 40mm lens, ISO 200, manual set white balance, Shutter speeds - 1/125, 1/500 & 1/2000
